Head and neck pack offers a flexible draping solution for procedures as diverse as tonsillectomies, bat ears or rhinoplasties. Reinforced head and neck pack features a non-woven material that provides a high level of comfort and breathability, and thanks to the built-in absorbent area, ensures that the surgical field is kept as clean as possible and reduces the risk of cross-contamination. The head drape pack is alcohol-repellent and designed for use in various surgical procedures.

How do you drape your head?

Head and neck surgical pack allows access and coverage for procedures performed in the head and neck region. Place the hand under cuff of the disposable head drape, open the drape while securing turban under cuff, place head drape under the patient’s head and use the cuff to protect the sterile cuffed hand. The next step will be to create a turban around the head to isolate the hair from the field, remove release liner tabs and place one half of turban over patient’s head. Securing with adhesive, repeat to cover entire head. Complete turban by removing bottom release liners in securing bottom portion of turban around head. Position book folded split sheet on chest or chin unfold two sides, then there are two feet, remove liner to expose the adhesive strip, placing hand below split position drape while draping tails toward patients head, creating the final fenestration. Press adhesive to secure.
